About this Guide

Revelation refers to God's divine self-communication to humankind in Christ through the Holy Spirit. In turn, faith refers to humankind's graced response to that communication.

This guide offers an introduction to finding resources on Revelation and Faith for the course YSD / YLSD / YMD 5303 A. This course explores the following concepts:

  • Divine self-communication
  • Mediation of divine revelation through scripture and tradition
  • Expression of divine revelation in dogma and doctrine
  • The role of magisterium, theologians and sensus fidelium in transmission and reception of Catholic faith
