About Canon Law

Canon law is the body of laws and regulations made by or adopted by ecclesiastical authority, for the government of the Christian organization and its members (Catholic Encyclopedia, 1910). Over the years several adjustments have been made to it with the latest update made in 1983. Canon Law covers all aspects of church life including the organization of the church and the administration of sacraments.
